OVIO finds calm places near you and tells you how busy they are likely to be before you go. If something isn't working, or you want to tell us what would make it better, write to info@oviolab.org. A person reads every message.

Common questions

How do I delete my data?

In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete my data. It erases everything we hold about you, including the identifier stored on your phone. It cannot be undone. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions and cancel there. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, and we cannot cancel it for you.

I want a refund.

Refunds are handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account. Write to us as well if something went wrong, we would rather know about it than not.

A place is wrong, closed, or nothing like the app says.

Vouch on the venue itself, that correction feeds straight into the score other people see, and it is the fastest fix available. For a suggestion from the concierge, use the report control underneath the answer.

The app says it needs my location.

OVIO uses your location to find places near you and work out how far away they are. It only asks while you are using the app, never in the background, and your location is never stored on our servers. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → OVIO.

Does OVIO use AI?

The concierge does. The app asks your permission before your first request, tells you which provider receives it, and works without the concierge if you decline. Answers can be wrong, there is a report control under every one.

Is OVIO a medical or therapeutic app?

No. It recommends places to be. It is not a medical device and nothing in it is medical or psychological advice.
